RESEARCH ROADMAP
The research roadmap for each peer group is aligned with the applied research themes outlined in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Research Master Plan (Rencana Induk Penelitian, RIP).
For each research topic within a peer group, the roadmap is designed to progressively advance the Technology Readiness Level (Tingkat Kesiapan Teknologi, TKT) over a defined period. This implies that research grants obtained over time are expected to build upon prior work and contribute to incremental increases in TKT The long-term target is to achieve TKT 9 for each research topic within a timeframe of approximately 8 to 15 years, ensuring that research outcomes evolve from fundamental studies to fully implemented and validated technologies.
COMMUNITY SERVICE ROADMAP (Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat, PkM)
Alignment of Community Service (PkM) with the Roadmap. The Community Service (PkM) roadmap of the Department of Chemistry is developed in alignment with the institutional PkM roadmap of the university. Based on this framework, the Department of Chemistry defines its PkM themes within areas relevant to chemical sciences, encompassing five major focus areas: (a) Development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) related to chemistry, (b) Enhancement of food production and quality, (c) Improvement of public services, sanitation, and environmental pollution prevention, (d) Advancement of technology and management in chemistry education, (e) Strengthening of tourism governance related to chemical applications. The formulation of this roadmap at the departmental level aims to ensure coherence in PkM themes and implementation across all study programs. In addition, it facilitates more effective coordination of human resources within the department.
