Dr. Nurhaida, S.Si., M.Si

Dr. Nurhaida, S.Si., M.Si. is an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), Indonesia. She earned her Ph.D. in Biology from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), her Master’s degree in Chemistry from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), and her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK). Her research focuses on endophytic fungi, natural product chemistry, and antimicrobial compounds. In recent years, she has conducted studies on the antifungal potential of endophytic fungi from Senna siamea leaves and other medicinal plants. Her publications have appeared in reputable journals such as the World Journal of Microbiology and Biotechnology, Malaysian Journal of Microbiology, and AIP Conference Proceedings. She is an active member of the Himpunan Kimia Indonesia (HKI) and the Indonesian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (PBBMI).
