Dr. Surya Lubis, M.Si. is a Associate Professor in Department of Chemistry, Universitas Syiah Kuala Dr. Surya Lubis specializes in inorganic chemistry, catalyst chemistry, inorganic synthesis, and bioinorganic applications. He earned his Doctorate from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, a Master’s in Inorganic Chemistry, and a Bachelor’s in Chemistry from Universitas Sumatera Utara. Her currently serves as Head of the Master’s Program in Chemistry and has previously led the Basic Chemistry Laboratory and Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory. His research focuses on green synthesis of nanocomposites, photocatalysis, and environmental applications of inorganic materials. Dr. Lubis has published extensively on photocatalytic nanomaterials, dye degradation, and green chemistry approaches and is an active member of the Indonesian Chemical Society (HKI).
