Dr. Muhammad Bahi is an Associate Professor of Organic and Natural Product Chemistry at Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), Indonesia. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Georg-August University of Göttingen, Germany, and specializes in natural product chemistry, organic synthesis, and bioactive compound discovery. His recent research explores the anticancer, antioxidant, and cosmetic potential of Indonesian plant extracts, including Annona muricata, Gnetum gnemon, and Wodyetia bifurcata. Dr. Bahi’s publications appear in journals such as Indonesian Journal of Chemistry, Results in Engineering, and Journal of Advanced Pharmaceutical Technology & Research. He is a member of the Indonesian Chemical Society (HKI) and the American Society for Microbiology (ASM), actively promoting natural product innovation and sustainable chemistry research.
