Prof. Nurdin, S.Si., M.Si
Prof. Dr. Nurdin Saidi, S.S., M.Si. is a Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), Indonesia. He teaches Organic Chemistry, Natural Product Chemistry, and Structure Elucidation of Organic Compounds at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Malaya, and his M.Si. and B.Sc. degrees from Universitas Padjadjaran and Universitas Syiah Kuala, respectively. His research focuses on natural products, bioactive compound isolation, and antioxidant and anticancer studies. Prof. Saidi has led several funded projects on Annonaceae and Rhizophora stylosa plants and published widely in international journals such as Molecules and F1000Research. He is also an active member of the Himpunan Kimia Indonesia (HKI).
