Banda Aceh , The Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening partnerships between academia and industry by organizing a guest lecture entitled “The Concept and Benefits of University–Industry Collaboration.” The event featured Indra Priyana, S.Si., Director of PT Alkan Chemical Indonesia, as the keynote speaker.
Held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the FMIPA Senate Room, the guest lecture brought together faculty members and the academic community of the Department of Chemistry. The event served as a strategic platform for participants to gain deeper insights into the critical role of university–industry collaboration in advancing higher education, fostering innovation, and preparing graduates to meet the evolving demands of the global workforce.
In his presentation, Indra Priyana emphasized that partnerships between universities and industry extend far beyond student internships.
